Howdy!

These are some of the advice that my Mama Tica has given me during my time in Costa Rica. Some of it is kind of funny, but all of it is useful.

1: Siempre cocina con amor.
Always cook with love.

Add the seed of the avocado to guacamole so it doesn’t go bad.

Don’t meditate alone, only with God. When you do meditation alone, the devil can enter your thoughts.

Put the sugar for your coffee on a plate with a little bit of water underneath it because ants don’t know how to swim.

Spend time in the Bible when you are afraid.

Put aluminum foil below your stove burners to get rid of the burned stuff easily.

Don't be frustrated with Spanish, little by little you are going to understand everything.

8: No te preocupes porque Dios sabe todo.
Don't worry because God knows everything.

Don't carry a lot of cash when you leave the house.

Always put God first, your mom second and then your boyfriend. The love of a mother is like the love of God, always with you.
